Acute Space is a curated gallery and performance venue focusing on the value of in-person creative experience and exchange between artist and patron. Acute aims for this experience to be as equitable in resources as possible to all involved, and remove as many points of dividing resources from the result of an event as we are able.

Mission

Acute Space aims to present creative experiences through a contemporary focused spectrum of performance, visual art, sound, moving image, and other artistic practice in an equitable and accessible way for all involved in the closed-circuitry between artist and patron.

What we do

We cultivate and sustain a community for visual and performing arts, and engagement for creativity through a variety of accessible workshops. Our operations will present local and touring performances, as well as present solo artist exhibitions in the space. Acute Space will transform the space outside of events into a café and market for local artist merchandise, as well as an owner-curated selections of music, books, and art.
